Classic Car Club Mallorca Christmas Drinks and Tapas Event
Saturday 6 December 2025

Celebrating Community, Friendship, and Charity at Bendinat Urban Country Club

On Saturday, 6 December 2025, the Classic Car Club Mallorca hosted its annual Christmas Drinks and Tapas event at the Bendinat Urban Country Club in Bendinat. This festive gathering marks the end of the year for club members, providing a relaxed and informal setting to connect, celebrate, and enjoy the spirit of the season together.

Despite a smaller turnout this year—40 members compared to last year's 55—the atmosphere was warm, lively, and inviting. The event began at 10:30am and was scheduled to finish by 1:30pm, but the good cheer and friendly conversations kept it going until 2:30pm. Attendees were treated to spectacular weather, with the sun shining brightly and temperatures reaching the low 20s Celsius, making it a perfect day for an outdoor celebration.

As a gesture of appreciation to the club’s members, drinks and food were provided free of charge by the Car Club. This year’s selection of tapas was especially impressive, with a wide variety of delicious options that catered to different tastes and preferences. Members mingled over plates of tasty food, complemented by a well-stocked bar serving both soft and alcoholic beverages. The quality and variety of the food received enthusiastic praise, contributing to the overall enjoyment of the event.

In keeping with the season of giving, the Classic Car Club used the occasion to support the Allan Graham children’s charity, an organization dedicated to helping children in care homes who may not be as fortunate, especially during the holidays. Rosemary Graham from the charity and her associate Denise came along to explain the workings and motivations of the charity. Charles Nutter, a strong advocate of the charity, was also in attendance, and he mentioned there would be a gathering of children from care homes in Pollensa on the following day and asked if members would attend with their classic cars.

Members generously contributed to a collection, raising an impressive €850 during the event and in online donations. Demonstrating its commitment to the community, the Car Club matched the members’ donations, bringing the total to €1,700 for the charity. This heartfelt gesture underscores the club’s desire to make a positive difference in the lives of local children, reinforcing the importance of community spirit at Christmas.

The 2025 Christmas Drinks and Tapas party was a resounding success, offering members a chance to unwind, reconnect, and celebrate a year well spent. While attendance was lower than the previous year, those present enjoyed superb weather, excellent food, and the camaraderie that defines the Classic Car Club Mallorca. Most importantly, the event succeeded in giving back to the community, exemplifying the club’s values of generosity and togetherness. As the year draws to a close, members can look back on this gathering with fond memories and pride in their collective contribution to a worthy cause.

We wish you all a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
